Student engagement and involvement is a direct connection to retention and as the MTSU Homecoming Queen I will partner with those school officials in order to improve the quality of student life through big events and other incentives.

If it was up to me I believe the question should be why not run for Homecoming Queen. I have also benefited from scholarships in pursuing my college degree here at MTSU and because of this opportunity, it has allowed me to become civically engaged and a globally responsible citizen. I am running for homecoming queen because I believe in True Blue and its mission and values and am looking to make my dreams of being homecoming queen a reality.

These are the qualities that I feel a True Blue Raider should always poses. Having the title of Homecoming Queen is much more than just a title for me. It exemplifies my hard work and dedication, excitement, and blue raider pride towards the campus of MTSU. This is one of the greatest parts of success. The way that I choose to help others is through music.

I am determined to impact the campus of MTSU and the world, and I will not give up until I reach this level of success. If I am given the opportunity to be your Homecoming Queen, I will love to show my music appreciation and love for the university in an amazing way by putting on one of the most extravagant student benefit music concerts for those students that are struggling financially while in college.

This concert would be an outside concert with live bands and great influential artists on the campus of MTSU as well as great local artists. It will consist of quality stage lighting and a great sound system just like a professional concert. I believe that giving back is imperative. Music changes lives, and I am ready to make a difference as your Homecoming Queen. It is my senior year and decided, why not? I am running for Homecoming Queen because I want to go out with a bang.

I have never done anything like this in my life, but I am excited for the roller coaster ride that is ahead of me. I want to run for homecoming queen, because I embody everything that our university offers: true southern charm, wit, diversity, and a humble spirit.

If crowned queen, I plan to improve the quality of student life by creating events that allow our university to see the identities of the students on our campus and attracting awareness to the many talents and cultures of the MTSU community.
